The Human Rights Campaign's Annual Gala Dinner

The Human Rights Campaign's Annual Gala dinner in New York at the Hilton in midtown Manhattan was an evening to remember.

New Jersey Governor Jon Corzine and New York State Senate President Malcolm Smith addressed the guests and Michelle Williams, formerly of Destiny's Child, entertained the hundreds of attendees.

Along with political speakers, the event also recognized several outstanding contributions to the pursuit of LGBT equality. Honorees included MSNBC journalist Keith Olbermann, who accepted the Ally for Equality Award, and financial services firm Morgan Stanley, which received the Corporate Equality Award.
